•  Under limited supervision, performs and may be certified in a wide range of complex inspections. 

•  Performs in-process inspection of (mount, bond, solder, coat, mark, can weld and seal) and/or finished production assemblies for conformance to quality assurance standards. 

•  Working from final assembly drawings, engineering change notices or established operating procedures, determines acceptance, rejection or rework requirements for unit.

  • •   Utilizing the Company’s ERP system and working closely with the Planner, determine material to be purchased to support manufacturing jobs.

Analog Circuit Design Engineer

•   Solid fundamentals of analog circuit theory with 10+ years of design experience in sensor, ADC, PLL, PWM, and switch mode power supplies

  • Design experience with analog modules such as comparators, amplifiers, band-gap reference, LDOs, Op-Amps, oscillators and other core analog blocks

  • Solid knowledge of EDA design tools including Cadence and Mentor design environments for schematic capture, electrical simulation, and layout

  • Strong analytical and modeling experience using MATLAB, PSpice, and other toolsets

  • Experience with hybrid / multi-chip module (i.e., bare die) designs is a plus

  • Comfortable in a hands-on environment including working in an engineering lab to realize design concepts

•   Active participation in the Micropac Leadership Team.

  • •   Manages day-to-day activities with a team responsible for MARCOM, Field Sales, Customer Service, Inside Sales, US Manufacturing Reps and Distributors.

Manufacturing Equipment Setup Technician

•   Must be able to show aptitude of a mechanical nature and understand how to properly set up and make adjustments to various production machines.

  • •   Must be able to work with minimal supervision and work with leadership to ensure that production machines are running safely, efficiently and producing quality products.

  • •   Observe all company rules including plant health, safety and environmental rules.

  • •   The set-up tech will participate in developing and monitoring procedures to improve line uptime and efficiencies.

  • •   The set-up tech will also use manuals, job aids or guidelines to complete preventative maintenance and repairs to automated equipment.

  • •   At times this position requires working closely with manufacturing, engineering and maintenance for line and/or equipment improvements.

  • •   The set-up tech will be expected to be trained and capable of performing all functions expected of an equipment specialist for all areas.

  • •   Resolve and repair minor plumbing issues.

  • •   Perform minor electrical tasks such as replacing light fixtures and ballasts.

Requirements

•    A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a maintenance role working in a manufacturing assembly or production environment is preferred.

•    Must be able to read and follow maintenance instructions.

•    Ability to understand processes of dangerous chemicals and building requirements that help ensure OSHA compliance procedures.

•    Basic computer skills are a necessity.

•    Must be able to work 1st shift, overtime, and Saturdays (at least twice a month – half days) as required, on short notice.

•    Must pass a respirator physical, able to wear a respirator and other personal protective equipment as required.

•    Be able to work in tight spaces, work in a clean room environment, climb a ladder and lift on routine basis 35 – 50 pounds, have a valid Texas driver’s license and possess own transportation and be willing to travel to various distributors and vendors to pick up parts, and to purchase supplies.

•    Typically requires a high school education or equivalent, computer literate, capable of searching for parts on the internet and be familiar with word and excel, work in a team environment, meet all attendance requirements, capable of assisting in completion of City, State and Federal regulatory reports.
